The SPM mold confirms the series capability and feasibility of a product after design and long before series production. As a result, design faults can be identified at an early stage. The gating technique can be defined more easily and the mold injection behavior can be observed. Sink marks on the plastic piece can therefore be identified quickly and ease of demolding confirmed. Similarly, material pairings and surface qualities can be inspected and checked in advance, and shrinkage and warpage behavior determined easily.

The produced parts are equivalent to high-quality series parts, are ready for installation, their thermostability, surface quality, strength, chemical resistance and other properties can be tested and if necessary optimized. Modifications and changes to the mold can be made in a straightforward way at any time.
